Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions (last updated: July12, 2023)

  • Chase4Snow Snowsport School is a snow sports school owned and operated by AT Snow Godo Kaisha.

  • Please read all registration instructions, terms and conditions before booking. Completion of payment implies the acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions.

Risks

  • While taking lesson(s) with Chase4Snow instructors, all guests, parents or guardians should understand that snowsports can be dangerous and may result in injuries.

  • Chase4Snow is NOT liable for any injuries or accidents occurring before, during or after any lesson.

  • All participants must have valid travel insurance which covers accidents or injuries sustained whilst undertaking snowsports activities.

  • Chase4Snow is NOT liable for any equipment that is lost or damaged before, during or after any lesson, this includes any cost due to replacement of equipment or lost of lesson time.

 

 

Booking

  • You can make a reservation through the Chase4Snow official website booking form or by email.

  • Bookings are only confirmed after full payment.

  • All bookings are void if any false information is provided in the booking. If payment have’t been settled before the payment due date  in the booking confirmation, your reservation will be cancelled.

  • All Chase4Snow products and services are subject to availability Chase4Snow reserves the right to make the final decision.

  • You can request a specific instructor by paying a request fee for private lessons; however, this is subject to availability, health and visa status.  When the requested instructor is not available, we will refund the request fee, and will also arrange the most suitable replacement and advise you of this in advance.​

 

Lesson

  • Lesson will be divided into Skiing or Snowboard lessons, and the instructor has the right to refuse someone who are not same discipline to anticipate this lesson.

  • Discipline is not changeable in the middle of the lesson time (eg, change discipline from skiing to snowboard).

  • All full-day lesson start between 8:30 am and 10:30 am. The full-day lesson will have a one-hour lunch break, usually from 12:30 am to 1:30 pm. You also can choose to rest in the middle of the lesson.

  • In order to start lesson on time, please bring your ski equipment, appropriate snowsport clothing, protective gears and lift ticket at the designated place at least 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.  If any participant is late for any reason, the Chase4Snow will not provide any refund or additional lesson time.

  • The lift ticket is necessary for most of lesson, if you are not sure what lift ticket to buy, feel free to ask you instructor for recommendations . The lift ticket is not included in the lesson fee.

  • Where lesson take place determined by:

  1. Weather, snow conditions, crowds and corresponding safety considerations

  2. Student’s skill level

  3. Where student interested to explore

  • For lesson at Niseko, we are NOT able to start any lesson at any location other than Grand Hirafu or Annupuri. Once the lesson has commenced, lesson can be carried on to entire Niseko United Resort.

  • Guests in advanced level lesson may need  all mountain Niseko United lift ticket to access different areas in the resort. Even in such case, due to different considerations, lesson may turn out stay in a single area only. If this occur, Chase4Snow is not liable for any price difference in lift ticket prices.

 

 

Group lesson

  • In the case of group lesson, if the participants ability is not match the group, Chase4Snow reserves the right to merge groups of different ages and abilities.

  • Multi-day group lesson is based on consecutive days.

  • Group lesson bookings are deemed to be cancelled if the student does not show up within 20 minutes after the lesson start time.

  • Minimum age for children’s group snowboard lessons is 7 years old, and this is not the case for private courses. 

 

 

Child

  • Minimum age for children lessons is 7 years old for snowboard, 4 years old for skiing and must be toilet trained. Chase4Snow reserves the right to refuse the custom of any child who is not toilet trained. Proof of age may be requested for children participating in Chase4Snow Lessons.

  • Children under the age of 6 are recommended to take part in a one-on-one lesson. If there are children under the age of 6 in the lesson, you must notify Chase4Snow.

  • Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their children have a valid lift ticket. Any part of any lesson missed as a result of not having a valid lift ticket is non-refundable or transferable.

  • Parents or guardians of any child must provide a contact phone number prior to the lesson start time. Failure to do so could result in parents or guardians not being advised in the event of an emergency.

  • Parents or guardians must notify us with any dietary or safety issues. In taking a full day lesson that includes lunch, you agree that you/your child will be exposed to potential allergens in the restaurant. Chase4Snow will not be liable for negligence on behalf of restaurants regarding food allergies.

  • The cost of lunch is not included in the lesson fee and it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that the child has enough money to pay for the lunch.

 

 

Booking Alterations

  • Any changes on time, date or number of participants of booking should be requested no later than 7 days prior to the booking date  and subject to availability of instructor, Any request for booking alterations within 7 days prior to the commencement date will NOT be served.

  • Request for booking alterations made more than 7 days prior to the commencement date is possible but subjected to availability of instructors

  • Chase4Snow reserves the rights to deny any booking alteration request.

  • Booking which confirmed with Chase4Snow may be transferred to another person with at least 24 hours' notice.

 

Cancellation

  • To be eligible for any refund due to sickness or injury you must present a valid medical certificate from a practitioner with at least 24 hour notice. The refund will be 50% of the paid value.

  • No refund will be made for weather condition or other operational conditions outside the control of Chase4Snow.  Cancellations by client as a result of bad weather will not be refunded. Only in the event of Niseko United official announcement of the resort closure, clients are entitled to a full refund for affected lesson(s).

  • Please send cancellation request by email, cancellation will be effective only after requester received confirmation email from Chase4snow

  • Lessons cancelled during peak season period (December 14, 2023 to January 7, 2024, February 6 to February 21, 2024) will NOT be refunded.

  • If the lesson is cancelled during other periods, Chase4Snow will refund part of the course fee according to the cancellation time.

  1. Cancellations of fully paid reservations made more than 21 days prior to the commencement date will be refunded 50% of the paid value.

  2. Cancellations of fully paid reservations made within 21 days and more than 14 days prior to the commencement date will be refunded 30% of the paid value.

  3. Cancellations of fully paid reservations within 14 days prior to the Commencement date will NOT be refunded.

  • The relevant bank fees for cancellation must be borne by the guest.
